    Shower drain installation
    Good morning,

I am installing a shower floor pan with an integral drain. Should any lubricant be used to install the seal around the 2" drain pipe?

    Thank you,

We lube the neoprene ring with silicon Jel. DO NOT USE any grease, Vaseline or petroleum product as it will deteriorate the neoprene. Good luck Tom
