Sharkbite Fitting to Dielectic Fitting Leaks

I am replacing 2 water heaters and am using a 3/4x3/4 MNPT Sharkbite fitting on the copper end and a dielectric connection on the water heater end. I have 4 of these connections and all 4 are leaking between the Sharkbite and the dielectric. I have tried teflon tape (2 wraps) and pipe dope without any luck. Help!
