Your septic tank is not under your house so maybe you could give us more details. Does this water have a septic smell to it? Scoop up some water in a glass and step to another area to give it the sniff test. How much rain have you had in the past several days. Do you live near Lake Delton in Wisconsin, Tommy Bartlett is looking for his lake. LOL
Yes, your septic will not be under the house, it will be in the yard somewhere with laterial lines running from it. You will have a main sewer line running to it that all you other lines run into.
You might have a broken water pipe if the water does not have a smell to it.
Let's find out exactly what type of leak you have. Pressure or drainage. To check to see if you have a hidden leak first shut down everything in the house, no flush, no drinks of water, and if you are on a meter go out and check the little pointer in the gage. It should not move or creep. If it does you have a leak. If you're on a pump then check the pressure gage after the pump builds up to pressure and shuts off. The gage should not fall and the pump come back on. If so you have a leak. If everything checks out then you have a septic tank problem and it should be pumped and the drain field checked for saturation Hope this helps and thank you fot rating my reply, TomQuote:
