Replacing bathroom single sink with double
I am replacing the bathroom vanity from a single sink to a double sink. Problem is that the current drain is in the middle of the vanity and I would like to maximize drawer space here. Can I move the existing trap parallel, against the wall and put a tee connection over this for the double sinks? Is this up to code? Do I need two traps?

    Thanks for any help.

Two traps would be best otherwise a draining sink can rise slightly in the other sink possibly leaving/causing scum .

While two traps are indeed best sometimes they aren't practical. Let me give you another option. A continuous waste,(see image) might be better for you space wise. Good luck, Tom
