relocation kitchen sink

I am relocating a kitchen sink to a new location 3 feet from the original location. The sink is on the first floor with the basement and exposed existing plumbing easily Accessible from the basement?

Why not open up the wall and extend the drain line 3 feet, **OR**
If you have room in the cabinet you could come off the stubout with a long sweep ant pipe over and 45 into the trap. That would save tearing into the wall.
The water could be extended over in the cabinet and secured to the cabinet walls. Good luck, Tom
