Pressure from toilet valve will not fill toilet tank
I have recently had a soft water installation put in. The shut off valve is conveniently close to the garage where the clean water tank was installed. Anyhow after the installation was completed pressure worked great in every room except the master bathroom toilet. The dual sink, the shower, and the tub all have great pressure but the toilet will not fill up. I shut off the toilet valve and disconnected the line. I then turned on valve with line hanging in toilet, a small burst of water came out for a second then immediately went to a trickle. How can everything in the 2 Yr old house work great but this toilet all the sudden will not fill the bowl? Where did my pressure go please help.

Your pressure went bye-bye when some minerals built up on the pipoe walls were dislodged as the softener was installed. This crud got sucked up into the first fixture making a draw, in this case your toilet. The toilet branch will have to be flushed out.
Shut the water off at the house shut off and remove the angle stop. You will be left with a open pipe. Place a large pan or pail over the open line and have someone turn the water back on on for a 5 second count. You should see some debris come out followed by a full stream. If so replace the angle stop and button up. If you don't have a full stream try again and get back to me with the results. Good luck and thank you for rating my reply. Tom
