    Pressure Tank problems
I have a hand dug well with a jet pump that pulls water from the well and sends to a holding tank. Another pump pulls water from the holding tank to the house under pressure from my well-x-trol pressure tank. (about 15 yrs old) Recently, for the last 3 days I am getting lots of air in my water line coming into the house. I was bleeding the air off in the basement and then the water was OK, but now there is no pressure and no water coming into the house? Did the well-x-trol tank go bad? :(

I would suspect the booster pump. Is the pump running? Does the holding tank have water? Bear in mind that pressure tanks do not generate pressure. The pump does that. The pressure tank simply stores water under pressure.
