No not foot valve. Tell us a little more, what kind of pump, why do you think you have pressure if you don't have water?

Something's not right here! The gage on top of the impeller cage reads 50 PSI and the pump's cut off but there's no pressure past what? Is there pressure to the bladder tank? To a shut off valve? to what. Either the gage's faulty or there's a blockage in the pressure line. Which is it? Waiting on your reply, Tom

NoWater, try turning the gauge as though you intend to remove it and see if it begins to leak at any point around the threads. If it does, then simply screw it back down. If it doesn't, then your gauge is locked up. Replace it.

Have you change the air pressure in the tank?

Turn pump off.
Empty tank of all water.
Close all faucets.
Turn pump on.
Let air out of tank via that tire stem looking valve until pump comes on.
Note what pressure pump comes on and what pressure pump goes off.
Let us know what happens.
