    Pot filler information
I am installing a pot filler faucet in my new home. I have pex tubing for all water lines and have run a hot line for the pot filler. I have noticed that almost all of the faucets call for cold water only and I am wondering why? Am I going to run into a problem with this? Can anyone explain? Thank you.

Well, hot water is usually yuckier, because it has sat in the tank for hours swirling around with all of the debris that finds it's way into the tank.

That's my take on it anyway.

It is a matter of taste. Use cold, filter it.
