Portable Washer

I just got a portable washer. (1) Can I hook it up to a kitchen sink that has a water purifier hooked up to it? The person who lived here before hooked up the water purifier in place of the spray hose on the side of the faucet. The spray hose seems to be still connected somehow under the sink. (2) Should I get a new faucet or just reattach the spray hose in place of the water purifier? I don't care if I have the purifier or not.
