    Plumbing & portable dishwasher
I have a portable dishwasher ( cannot use a permanently installed one-no room ). Dishwasher works fine.

I am installing a granite counter-top & am changing the faucets, etc. The faucet being considered is a "pull out" type; faucet/spray head is part of a hose which is part of faucet.
The head of this faucet (& most currently available faucets) does not allow the portable dishwasher connector to be screwed on or attached. Accordingly I cannot connect the portable water supply line / drain line to faucet in sink.

What plumbing modifications; hot water supply line; hoses; connections; diverters, etc need to be made to provide a separate hose line connection point so that portable dishwasher supply line / disposal line can be easily connected & used. It would seem that I need a hose line (approx 24-30 inches) attached to hot water supply line with dishwasher connector attached to end of hose so that I can connect the portable dishwasher to supply & be able to place the connected dishwasher drain & connected hose in sink for drainage. But what about easily accessible diverters, on/off connections, etc.
The current plumbing/ supply lines, drains, etc is inside a base cabinet which will be covered by the new granite counter-top

Would appreciate any detailed information, help you can offer.

    Thanks

    NNW:

If I understand you correctly then the dishwasher aerator that comes with your portable dishwasher is still a threaded aerator fitting. It should look something like my picture below... YES?

You should be able to remove the aerator from the new pull out faucet... or most faucets and you should still be able to install your dishwasher connector. That should allow the dishwasher to connect as it always has..?

Let me know if I am wrong... O.K.?

The Pull Out spout is the problem. You could make a dedicated water connection under the sink - just for your DW - and utilize KISS's adaptor.
