Plumbing

Asked Jun 27, 2012, 03:04 PM — 4 Answers
My problem is the opposite. First of all the flapper remains open for all the water to empty the tank, but then it takes forever for the refill. The water simply takes its time swirling around before a direct flush takes place. Also, I notice my critical level mark is no where near 1" above the overflow pipe as you suggest. The plumber installing this didn't take this into consideration, I guess. And lastly, how do I adjust the clip for the water level. I tried to do this, but I see no change, either up or down. All help would be appreciated.

You posted your "QUESTION" as a answer to someone elses question, you did not ask a question, you posted a answer.
That is why no one was answering it.

I moved it to a question of its own.

Not one of our guys that told you that. The tank level should be 1/2" UNDER the white overflow tube.

Tom. Thanks for getting back to me on this. I got confused where I had to write the question. I also was stating what the diagram showed on the website regarding the 1" . However, you were correct it should be 1/2 " under the overflow tube. Had a plumber out today and he snipped off the overflow pipe, so now the hose feeds better.
