converting a tub drain to a shower drain, the led pipe is connected to the pvc pipe how do you get that apart? this is a foundation i dug down to the pvc pipe and im at the led joint. any suggestions?

Hmmm...

Lead pipe is not joined to PVC...unless by a clamp. Are you sure you don't have cast iron pipe (black pipe) or galvanized pipe (silver color) there....and if so, is it joined by inserting into a cast iron hub?? Let me know more...

Tub drain is 1 1/2" pipe and a shower needs a 2". We could really benefiot from a picture, can you do that for us?
