Outdoor faucet pulses

I have an outdoor fauced - the high-standing type - that I use to connect to my motor home.

It has not been used for about 6 weeks, and when I tried to use it today to wash some garden tools I found that it pulses about once per second or less. It does it continuously as long as I leave it turner on.

No other faucets in the building do it.

Anyone have any suggestions about what may be going on and how to fix it?
