No Water in the Kitchen Sink

I have the new Plumbing (The on/off levers) for each water outlet in the house ***not sure if this is relevent info... Here is my problem.... First my hot water stoped running out of the kitchen sink. I closed and reopened the valve under the sink and it would either rip out or spit out the water forcefully for a second and then stop. I then deceided to test something. Since the cold water was working fine I though I would run a test. I closed then reopened the cold water value while the water was on and now I have no water in the sink at all???? HELP.. PS the Dishwasher runs on the same hot water line and it still gets its hot water?? So I am guessing that I have an "air" problem from the valve to the faucet?? Please help me get back my water...

Wrong!! You have crud or mineral buildup in the pipes that's now clogging the seats of the shut off valves. The solution is to shut the water off to the house and remove the lever,(ball?) valves from the pipes coming out of the wall. Check and clean the seats of the valves you've removed. Now place a bucket on front of the open pipes and turn the water back on to flush out the supplies. You should have a strong stream out of the supplies at this time. If so, reassemble and test. good luck, Tom
