No cold water supply to faucet

Hi Folks
I have an upstairs half bath with washbasin in. The other day, the cold water stopped supply working. I've tasted taken the feed pipe from the cut-off valve and tested to see if the water is being fed to the valve by turning it off and on, I don't get any water thru the valve.
Anyone have any ideas? Is it the valve or a blocked feeder line?
If its any use, I have grey flexible type piping through the whole house and very little copper!
Help!
Thx
Stu

Hi Stu,

We've had a rash of frozen pipe complaints in the last week. Are you certain the pipe's not froze up? If you think it might be in the valve shut the water off to the house and remove the angle stop leaving the stub-out. Place a bucket to catch water and have someone turn the water back on for a minute. if the line's clear you should get a strong stream. Regards, Tom

Cheers Tom,
I got it ! It was the valve, it had gotten clogged with stuff, playing and cleaning with it got it up and running again!
Cheers for the advice.
Thx
Stu
