We had to replace the water pipe in the ground going to the house and thought we did it successfully but we can't get any water from pipes. Is there some way we can clear the pipe in case it got dirt in it without digging it all up again? Please help! Thank you
its hard to get enough dirt in the pipe to stop the flow completely.
Couple of questions
How long is the pipe?
What size and type?
What kind of access do you have inside?
Are you able to shut it off at the curb stop in the street?
Have you tried pulling the valve in the basement apart to see if that is where the dirt is?
where is your water meter located, inside or out? If inside, shut main valve off, disconnect meter, flush line completely. Sounds like something is clogged. Did you open curb stop at curb???
