New Gas Oven

I'm switching from electric to gas oven. I have a gas furnace about 20 feet away from where the oven will be installed. They are both on the same floor.
could this be a DIY job or do you you sugest a pro? If DIY could sombody please give me detailed instructions or recomend someplace I could get them?Would appriate any help at all.

Unless you have experience in running gas lines and testing them I would leave it to a professional. If you run a water line and have a leak the worst thing to happen is mopping up the spill, however, with a gas leak, a spark could start you on a trip to the moon. And that's a real drag without a spaceship. Call in a plumber. good luck, Tom
