New Double sink doesn't drain very well!
Hi Guys,. So I put in a new double kitchen sink, and it's taking real long to drain!. The old single bowl sink was draining fine!!

I put in PVC piping... and though I was good to go!. but it's not draining!.
    What's the problem?.
A vent somewhere?. it wasn't clogged up before installing the sink..

    Thans!

Hi Larry, You are vented aren't you? In changing out your sink you might have some crud built up on the pipe walls ands its now clogging the drain line. The solution would be to remove the "J" bend from the trap and snake the drain line, (see image) Good luck, Tom

Did you reuse the old trap? When you start to do what Tom recommends check the trap for anything that may have fallen in during your assembly, then do Tom's fix.
