I might be trying to do the impossible, but I thought I'd ask you before asking a plumber so I wouldn't appear completely out of my mind.

I live in a condominium building with concrete slab floors and would like to move my toilet back to create a little more space in the bathroom. Is there a way I can do so without a lot of demolition or construction? I believe I may have read something about an adapter for the drain. Also, are there toilets that take up less space, possibly with the tanks hidden in the wall? However, if that isn't possible I could move the wall behind the toilet back as much as is needed . . .

It all depends upon how farback you wish to move the toilet and since you didn't share this piece of information that's about all I can say. How far is the toilet away from the wall now? They do make a 2" off set flange and a 10" rough toilet that would give you rwo extra inches of room. If you want more you'll have to get into major surgery. Regards, tom
