    Mounting washer on faucet stuck
I need help on removing the mounting plastic washer on the under side of the faucet. I'm trying to remove the faucet and one on the mounting washers on the faucet is stuck. I can't remove it after using lubricant and everything I can think of. Can someone please advise how to remove and cut the washer?

You could go out and purchase any of the following tools:

    1) Basin wrench

    2) Basin buddy

    3) Basin nut wrench

Any of these will safely remove the plastic nut.

You could also melt the plastic by heating a chisel and then split the nut, but this is unsafe as any of a number of things could happen.

Purchase any of the above tools to remove the nut safely... ;)

Teddy: Yes, sometimes it is very hard to unscrew that washer. What we do is we take a sharp wood chisel, place it on the washer and gently tap it with hammer. It will split in halves and fall down.

    TC,
Both Mark and Milo have given you good advices also if you don't have a chisel you can use a long slat screwdriver place it on the washer and gently tap it with hammer it will do the job, good luck.
