Lower Water pressure in single handle shower

I have low water pressure in my master shower. So far narrowed it down to the cartridge in the mixer valve. I have no idea what brand since there are no names or numbers on anything. Took the cart out and tried to clean it. seems like there is some scald valve in this balk plastic square cart that slides into the brass fixture in the wall. Tried using cleaner CLR but still hardly any pressure.

ANy idea of online places that sell these parts or do I have to take it out and run to all the plumbing supply houses in my area? Or what else do you think I should try.

Thanks for any help

A picture would be nice. We can't do anything until we know what the brand is. Regards, Tom

tom,
Found out is a Price Fister and replaced the parts but pressure is still low. Any ideas of where to check next? Hot water Heater? Dont think there is a leak. The house is 6 years old. Will watch water bill for that. Thanks

When you had the valve open did you turn the water back on to flush out the supplies and open valve body? Did you have a full stream out of the supplies? L<et me know. Tom
