Floyd

I Cleaned Out The Water Heater Room And In Doing So I Turned The Dial To "pilot", When I Was Done I Turned It Back To "on" Later I Took A Shower Had Warm Water. I Then Checked The Water Heater, I Turned It Up And It Started But When I Go To Take Another Shower The Next Day It Is Warm. Heater Is Not Staying Lit To Warm The Water But If I Turn It Up It Lights Again But Still Only Warm Water. Pilot Is Staying Lit So It Is Not The Thermo Coupling. Thanks Floyd

How long before the gas shuts down the burner after you reset it? If you will give me the brand and model number I'll try to pull up a diagram of the thermosrat and any saftey link that may be shutting you down. Regards, Tom
