| When you flush a hot water heater you leave the cold water supply on. To turn it off it just drains the tank not flushes it. Open up the tub/shower valve and clean and clear the hotwater inlet ports on the cartridges. Before you reassemble turn the hot water on to flush out the supply. Regards, n Tom[/quote]
Should water flow freely out of the tank with the water supply turned off? After connecting the hose to the tank (located in the attic), very little water flowed out of the hose.
I also need to clearly define the problem. There is hot water coming in from both showers, but to get hot water, the dials(only one in each shower) need to be turned almost all the way to hot.
