Kitchen sink

Why would one side of a double sink drain fine and the other side drain really slow. They both go into a single pipe before the trap.

You have some blockage between the slow drain and the "T" where both sinks join together. You can rod this but these pipes are not difficult to open and visually inspect from under the sink.
