    Hey NiniMay,
What type of a faucet are we talking about? The brand name? One handle or two knobs? Before we can help wew have to know what we are dealing with. Regards, tom

    Hi Tom,

I don't see any Brand name, it's a two knobs faucet.

    Thank you - Ninimay

    OK, Gotcha!
I've put up a image of the type of valve that you have. Shut the water off to the vakve and remove the handle and face plate. Back the stem out 1/2 turn and unscrew the nut closest to the valve body. This should give you the stem and washer assembly. Now run something around the seat and check for nicks or rough spots. If you find any the seat will have to be replaced as well. Take the stem and washer assembly into a plumbing shop and have them replace the washer an d seat if necessary. Before you reassemble place a can over the valve and turn the water back on for a few seconds to flush out the supplies. Reassemble and test. More questions? I'm as close as a click. Good luck, Tom
