Instant Hot Water dispenser vs. Side sprayer

I want to add an Instant hot water dispenser to my stainless steel sink. It already has a side-sprayer through the hole I want to use to install the dispenser. 1) Can I use that hole & 2) how do I defeat the side-sprayer hose and eliminate it under the sink?

It is your sink. If you would prefer a hot water dispenser to a sprayer, do it. You should be able to unscrew the end of the hose, and replace it withIt is your sink. Hey Karl,

You could have both if you wanted to. Simply rent a hole punch ,1 3/8ths" and punch another hole in your sink. We do it all the time on stainless steel sinks for insta-hot or filtered water. However if you don't want the sprayer you can disconnect the sprayer hose from the bottom of the faucet and replace it with a 1/8th" brass plug. Good luck, Tom
