Immersion Hot water tank

I have recently changed the thermostat in the immersion hot water tank. The water is heated twice a day through a timer. I have noticed that there is not hot water anymore. It starts off fine, and then gets cool/cold after a short time. I can only find 1 heating element at the top of the tank. The water is not as hot as it used to be either. Please help!!

Hi, tingling!

Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.

We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.

Thanks!

How many inspection plates does your heater have? What capacity is it? What's the brand name? How many volts does it take to operate? Are you in the US or out of country? Does you heaterl ook like this?(see image). Let's have more details to work with. Regards, Tomk
