How to install a studor mini vent?
Do I need to apply an adhesive to the 1.5" pipe that the studor mini vent will be going on? It fits well when placed on the pipe but is there a need to have an adhesive?

Yes! You should prime and cement the AAV to the raiser. This is done so that no sewer gas can escape. FYI,
The reason it fits snug is because the female fitting has a slight taper and they bind. Regards, Tom

I have a studor mini vent under my sink that will not let the water drain out - water drains when I remove the vent. I tried to replace it but got the same results. Is there a something you have to do to 'activate' a studor valve? I snaked the line underneath and it is clear. Any suggestions?

Using "Studor" mini vent in bathroom wall [ 1 Answers ]

I am completely renovating a bathroom in a 1973 mobile home. There is no vent stack from any of the toilet, tub or lav fixtures. I plan to install the "Studor" vent in the wall. Can I use one vent for two fixtures or does each fixture need it's own vent?
