How do I remove pop-up shower drain?

I have a pop-up drain type that i'd like to replace but cannot figure out how to remove it or for that matter if its even possible to replace it. Please help, thanks. Jeff

Mark.. I checked for the set screw and my unit does not have one, though I wish it did as this would have been much easier. Do you know how to go about removing it if there is no set screw? I've tried rotating it several times but it does not come out. Thanks again. --Jeff

checked it out and there is definitely no set screw. checked via mirror and on stomach. I think it might be from what I can find, a roller ball drain?? though I am not sure how to remove a roller ball drain..
