    Hot water tap blew off
I've been noticing for awhile now that my hot water tap on my tub makes a rattling noise when turned on & off then last night when I shut the hot water tap off the hot water tap on my sink in the bathroom blew off and water shot out of it . There was also a lot of metal pieces coming out of the tap in the water.. I was wondering what might have caused this and what should be done to fix it.. thanks

I don't know 3what caused your faucet to blow up but one thing is certain. You're going to hafta replace that faucet. Before replacing flush out the hot water supply line so there's no more metal shavings. Good luck, Tom
