    Hot water not lasting
    Hello'
    I need help to find out where to turn hot water up on the tank...
    Hot temp does not last through a six minute shower even when the cold is completely
    Turned off...
    HELP :confused:

    Since you didn't say I'[m going to assume that you have a electric water heater. A couploe of things would cause your problem. 1) And the most likely, would be a lower element that's burned out **or** 2) the dip tube has fell in and cold water's mixing with the hot. OH! To answer your question, the electric heater has a top and lower thermostat that can be set,(120 F. is the factory setting) but increasing the temperature won't give you more volume. Good luck, Tom
