    Hot water faucet turns off by itself .
    Hello ,I live in a 2nd floor apt in a 2 family home my kitchen faucet is my problem the cold water is fine but when I turn on the hot water faucet the water will start to flow then it turns off I heard a noise from the pipe just as it turns off?? Why does this hot water just not stay on it does not matter if I turn it a little bit or full force . I have such a time trying to wash my dishes cause it won't stay on .Thank you in advance for any answers to slove this problem.

    Loose stem washer. Turn off the water, remove the stem and see if the washer is very loose or just not screwed to the stem. Open the stem slightly before trying to remove it.
