Hot Water

Water. We went to turn on the hot water tap and no water came out

We need more information,
Was there any plumbing work done in the house, is this in the kitchen, bath room sink, kitchen sink, how is your shower, is the cold water Ok, have you checked the water shut off valve at cold line going to water heater that is fully open, some people have S/O installed on the hot side too?
If it is only one hot water tap we will need the brand and the model number of your faucet, Thanks.
