I Have No Clue!

ok. my husband is out of town. these things always happen when he is gone! i have two bathrooms in my home. one at one end of the house and the other at the opposite end (its a mobile home). right next to the master bedroom and bathroom is the washer and dryer. starting yesterday when the washer drains the water out some water backs up into the master bathroom toilet, sink and bathtub. nothing is overflowing and the water looks bluish in the tub (laundry det. maybe?). i dont know anything at all about plumbing but i thought if i could get some help here i can tell my husband when he calls tonight and maybe that will help. the kitchen sink (on the other side of the laundry room) is normal and the other bathroom has no back up issues either. its just my master bathroom. any ideas???? thank you for any help at all!

OK Nina,

I'm familiar with mobile homes having worked in mobile factorys as a plumber building them.
What's happened is that you have a blockage downstream from your bathroom. The washer discharge hits the clog and comes up in the bathroom.
To repair this problem you must snake the drain line from the bathroom roof vent. After the line's been cleared flush it out by cycling the washer.
Good luck, Tom
