Gurgling\toilet leak

Asked Nov 19, 2009, 09:21 AM — 2 Answers
When we drain the spair bath tub it causes a gurgling sound in our master bedroom shower and the toilet leaks at the base. Our house is on a slab. What could be causing this?

Partially clogged vent stack. Best to rod from the roof with a sewer rod long enough to reach roof top to blow the slab plus 20'

The sound you hear is the tub attempting to vent, (pulling air), through the shower trap. Snake the lavatory roof vent., Good luck, m Tom
