Faucets in house have warm water, except mater shower is hot

All of the faucets and showers in the house except the master shower only get warm, unless the master shower is running, then they get hot water. My husband says this is not a problem that can be fixed. It is driving me nuts. What could be causing this problem, and how do we go about fixing it?

It sounds like you have a crossconnection between hot and cold somewhere in your system. Did this come on all of a sudden or has it been a ongoing problem. Has any work been done lately? A faucet changed or a fixture replaced? Regards, Tom

We have had this problem since we moved in, and have no idea where to start looking for the problem?
