How far from above operable doors and windows should exterior plumbing stack vents be?
Chapter 14,section 1404.4 (Location of vent terminal) Of the Standard Plumbing Code reads," No vent terminal from a drainage system shall be located directly beneath any, door, window, or any other ventilating opening of the building or of a adjacent building, nor shall any such vent terminal be within 10 feet horizontally of such opening unless it is at least 2-feet above the top of such opening." This should answer your question. Good luck, Tom
For the benefit of WDMsale, who seemed to have completely missed the above post, here it is again.

I asked for the answer to a legitimate question. I DIDN'T ask for your attitude. What part of that do YOU not understand?
I can't DUMB this down any more then I have already. I posted the regulations direct from my code book twice already and here you are again, asking the same question. I'll do it one last time;

Now if that doesn't make sense perhaps you can get a fith grader to explain it to you. This should conclude our discourse. Tom
