    Ejector pump will not stop running
    The ejector pump in the basement will not stop running. Also, I smell an odor from it. I unplugged it for now.

    Your float switch is hung up in the closed position. Open the pit up and free it up. Don't run anything into it until you get this cleared up. Good luck, Tom
