drywell backup

Hi, I have a house about 60 years old. Periodically I've had plumbing problems especially backed up whatever. Now my dry well that the washer drains in to is backed up. I had someone auger? it out once but that was a couple of years ago and it's backed up again. The washing machine is the only thing that runs into it. My wife looked up on the internet for a machine that unclogs drains. It cost about $190 plus $40 shipping. I'd really like to have something to unclog things and don't mind spending some money to get something decent. I guess my question is, should I get a machine like this or is it a waste of money. It says it reaches 50 feet. Also might you suggest another way to unclog this drywell. Thank you very much. Steve
