Dishwasher vent

Is there another way to vent the dishwasher other than a sink vent?

Hi Diane,

"Is there another way to vent the dishwasher other than a sink vent?"
Yes there is and it's the one we use in my area insteawd of clutterinjg up your cabinet top. I want you to to scroll down and read the thread, " Dishwasher Sink Vent". We loop the dishwasher hose up as high as it will go under the cabinet and secure it with pipe straps. (see image) the loop will give you the same gap needed but without the hassle of drilling the counter top and installing a air gap. Since the hose has a larger opening it won't clog up like the air gaps will. A winner all the way around. Good luck, Tom
