    Connecting Copper Supply Lines to Brass Supply Lines
    I have just started remodeling my kitchen and am looking to move my kitchen sink further down the wall. The kitchen is completely gutted at this point. The supply lines in my house are all brass. I'm looking to stem off the brass lines using copper tubing. Is it possible to cut the brass supply lines that are in the wall and using elbows and solder connect copper lines to them? If so, what is the best, most permanent solution for this?

    Although I've never heard of brass supply lines, I suppose they exist. Fittings and soldering are compatible. There is no need for dialectric unions etc.

    I'd suggest that you post the Outside Diameter of the pipe/tube.

    Outside Diameter?
    Are these fittings threaded?

    You can also post a picture using "go advanced/manage attachements" to show a fitting or two.

    If your having trouble measuring the "OD", use a strip of paper, wrap it around the pipe and cut with a razer blade. Then measure the circumference as best as you can. Milimeter divisions might be easier.

    I don't know. I didn't look for it. Ahh? Maybe it's because it shows up on the right. I guess management shouldn't show them if the reply count is 0.
