Cold water tap!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH
Hiya all im new and have so many questions bout so many things so i thought id start here....

When i turn on my bath taps the hot comes on fine but u can turn the cold tap on nearly full blast before it makes a funny noise n cold water starts actually comin out of it!! Not good when ur washin ur hair!!!

Any clues to what could be wrong???

Hey Kirstie,

One handle or two knobs on your tub valve? What's the name of your valve? How old? Any other problems with the cold water? My hunch is that you have a two or three knob valve and the washer broke off from the cold water stem assembly and is now blocking the valves seat. Does that sound right to you? Tom
