Cold smelly water in 1 faucet only

We moved into a house about 5 months ago and in the last month we have noticed that the water in the master bath is smelling. IT doesn't taste that bad, but the smell is very strong. We had the water company check our supply they flushed their system and tested and did not find anything. Should I call a plumber to check out that 1 faucet? all the others seen fine.

If it was on the hot side and throughout the entire hot system, I would suspect a corroded anode in the hot water tank, but I cannot explain why you would have this problem at only one tap.

Maybe take a bucket of water from the tap into another room wait awhile check it again to insure it is coming from the water. I would suspect the smell probably is coming from the drain or some build up where the taps meet the sink
