    Bathtub Faucet Leak
I had this same problem in the summer of 2005. :( After using my shower, I'd cut off the water and the bathtub faucet would either drip slowly or moderately run. Had new washers put on in 2005.
Just noticed (Oct 5 or 6 2006), that the same problem is reoccuring.

Please verify for me the equipment to buy, cost, and time it will take on this project: because I had a plumber scheduled to come by and he says I'll need: a 3 handled Devertor; and he'll need access behind the wall of the shower because I don't have a sepearte cut of valve for the bathtub.

Please verify what I need to stop this cursit drip.

Before we can answer we have to know what we're dealing with. It's kind of hard to comment on a problem until we know what it is. Brand name and type of tub/shower valve. Two or three knobs? Look anything like this? (see image) Talk to me. Tom
