    Bathtub drip
    Hello,

I have a two handle bathtub (and a third handle to turn the shower on and off) that keeps dripping after the handles have been placed in their upright position (turned off). The water seems to be cold, so I think it is the cold water. I know how to remove the handles, but once I get into the wall and am looking at the plumbing, what am I looking for? What needs to be fixed/replaced? Will I need any special tools (besides a screw driver and pliers)?
    Thanks!

You have a 3 knob faucet the middle one is the diverter, you have to shut water to the Tub/Shower remove the handles you would need a socket to remove the stems, once you remove the stems take the hardware store and get new washers, replace the washers, before installing the stems inspect the seats for any scratch marks if you see any scratch replace the seats or reseat them, see the images below, good luck.
