Aero AST-50 Water Storage Tank

Does anyone have experience with the Aero AST-50 water storage tank? I am wondering how it works in general compared to a hot water heater and what I need to know replacement.

I have replaced many hot water heaters but don't have any experience with the whole boiler thing.
