Hey again...
Thanks for the pics...really helps! I see a
lead ring around that pipe...? This could suggest that there was a flange there at some point and it is now broken away......
Can you dig around that pipe a little bit more and see if you can expose a fitting or space around the lead ring...?
Have you tried to at least place a
cast iron flange over the pipe....although I think it would run into the pipe it should fit over the pipe nicely? I'm also wondering if you can pry that lead ring up and out using a flat screwdriver and a hammer?
Remember, I'm just thinking aloud here for you...??
I think you can install a cast iron flange and then lead it in place, but you would need to crack the old flange out (if present) and/or dig down around that pipe for a few inches...tough but can be done!
Otherwise, with some additional work and the correct plumbing supplies you can probably just
set the toilet without the flange...
Answer my questions if possible...
