Which type of print paper will you choose if you want more contrast than appears on your negitive??????

hi you controll contrast through grades, ilford multigrade lets you adapt the contrast to get what you want. grade 5 high contrast grade 1 low. negs hande infomation over about 12 f.stops, paper over only 5, its the paper that lets you down.

I agree Ilford's.... Ilfobrom Galerie...multigrade MGW24.k warm black and white...keep with warm and fiber based papers.... Ifospeed RC has a resin pearl gives a nice contrast for portraits ...look up Forte products... it is from Hungaria......stay a purest
