picture package software for sony handycam DCR285E

hi,
i have DCR285E sony handycam which came along with picture package software for copying the movie which i have recorded on the CD(compact disc) but from the day one this software is not working please help me in this matter as i am not able to copy my movies on CD and that i am accumulating lot of DV's
